Morgan Van Dresar was born in Bryan, Texas, and spent her formative years in Caldwell. Following her secondary education, she pursued higher studies at Kilgore College, where she made notable contributions as a Kilgore College Rangerette, proudly serving on the distinguished 75th Line. In 2016, she successfully attained an Associate's of Arts Degree in Dance Education from Kilgore College, leading to a transfer to Texas A&M University to further advance her academic pursuits.
During her tenure at Texas A&M, Ms. Van Dresar assumed the role of Assistant Director for the Rudder High School RangeRettes Dance Team. In 2019, she marked the culmination of her academic journey at Texas A&M, achieving a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in History. Shortly thereafter, she embarked upon her teaching vocation.
Commencing her teaching career at SFA Middle School, Ms. Van Dresar undertook a 7th Grade Texas History position. Her efforts were recognized during the 2020-2021 academic year, where she was honored with the prestigious Rookie Teacher of the Year award. Transitioning from SFA, she assumed the role of a teacher at Rudder High School, instructing Advanced Placement U.S. History while maintaining her involvement in guiding the RangeRettes.
